Vehicle description

I present for you my 1977 Fleetwood Brougham in triple black, with leather, Astro Roof, and trailer towing package. When was the last time you saw that combination? This is the hardest to find colour combination in these years.
Purchased from the original owner"s widow in 2011 by a well known CLC member and collector in New Jersey showing just 36,593 miles at the time, he had an extensive mechanical reconditioning done. Invoice show the following work:
Oil, lube, and filter New battery and battery cables New rear axle seals and bearings New calipers, pads, rotors and parking brake cables New evaporator, receiver dryer, system flush and a/c recharge Muffler and tailpipe Rebuilt carburetor and tune-up (plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, fuel filter, air filter, pickup coil) Heater hoses, hot water valve, radiator hoses New springs and shocks at all four corners Valve cover gaskets Motor mounts New paint and grey pinstripe, and rear fillers Install rebuilt power antenna
From there, it went to the next owner in the Washington DC area.
He had new sway bar end links, belts, new steering damper (a Fleetwood thing), new speedometer cable seal at transmission, horn pad and battery done in 2018. He only drove the car less than 500 miles during his ownership.
During my ownership, I have done the following:
Refinish drivers 1/4 panel - it was ok upon purchase, but knew it could be better Strip off the grey pinstripe and apply red pinstripe - car looks much better with the black/black combo Install near NOS tail light lenses (yeah, they cost a small fortune and took months to find) Install 4 NOS hubcap emblems 4 NOS sealed beams with correct Guide markings New headlight adjusters NOS front speakers CB radio worked intermittently and the antenna replacement was not for a CB radio, so I replaced with with an 8 track player after installing new belts. It works perfectly. It is also connected to a RediRad and Sirius XM radio hidden in the glove box. 5 new tires Rebuilt the cruise control with a good used servo, NOS dash switch, NOS vacuum bleed brake switch, and NOS vacuum solenoids Disabled the level ride suspension - all of the components are in place, however, the compressor has no output. The car already had conventional springs installed for a standard vehicle, so there are no issues with the rear sagging with a full tank of gas and passengers. Barely used air shocks will be passed along to the next owner should they decide to restore functionality to the system. There is a rebuilt height valve installed on the car that I have a receipt for. Repaired the clock One chrome fin was missing on a dash vent, this was replaced with a NOS piece Remanufactured alternator Buff and polish paint and chrome. Painted top of engine (accessories still need to be removed to paint the front, and heads around the exhaust ports and spark plugs) New washer pump Added resonator to the exhaust system 4 wheel alignment
It came into my possession at 37,544 miles. It now has just about 42,000 miles. Everything works as it should save for the level ride and the power antenna is not working.
The car is oddly equipped. It has sentinel, but no auto dimming. Rear defroster, power antenna, trailer tow package, thermometer drivers side mirror, remote passenger side mirror, dual power seats, climate control, power door locks, 4 wheel disk brakes, astro roof, power windows, 4 note horns, power trunk with pulldown, and 8 track player. The car is turn key and ready to go.
I drove this car 1600 miles round trip to a Cadillac show in Pennsylvania last summer without any issue. I"m confident you could fly in and drive this car home.
If you"re a US buyer, the car is located in St. George, NB, Canada, just 35 miles from the border at Calais, ME. I have a local broker who assisted with the importation of the last two Cadillacs I sold to the USA. There is no duty or import fees back to the US - just about $400 in brokerage and your normal state taxes when the car gets its license plates in your home state.
If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I"m also available by Skype to do a walkaround or virtual test drive with you as I know I"m geographically challenged for a personal inspection.
Here is the YouTube video from when the car was for sale the first time before it went to DC:

Selling merely to exit the old car hobby as I do not have time to enjoy anymore.
