Vehicle description
1937 Cadillac Flower Car with a Fleetwood body 7543 TNC VIN #313379.
First year of flower car built by Cadillac.
This is only one listed in the Cadillac LaSalle Club Directory and it is quite possibly the only one in existence.
A similar LaSalle is pictured in the book AMERICAN FUNERAL VEHICLES, 1883 - 2003; written by Walter M.P. McCall. Please reference last photo of listing.
This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of American funeral/professional car history.
The car"s overall condition is good to very good. Please read below:
4 new white wall tires made by BF Goodrich/Silvertown. Paint is in overall good condition. All leather seats (dark gray) in excellent condition. Dual sidemounts with metal covers in excellent condition with two older spare tires. 3 speed transmission on the floor. Very clean trunk. Canvas top and rear canvas bonnet in excellent condition. Windshield and rear window glass are clear. Some minor fogging and a small crack in the driver"s side window. Marbelized flower bed liner in excellent condition. Some minor pitting of chrome. 4 hubcaps in excellent condition. Running boards are solid and in good condition. Missing one tail light lens and both windshield wiper arms. Mechanism is there. Included are an extra horn and some miscellaneous ignition parts.
The car is currently not running but the engine is free. I believe it will need minor mechanical service to be put on the road.
I currently have a Canadian registration for the vehicle.
This vehicle has always been garage kept.
The car is currently located in Pennsylvania and available for viewing by appointment only.
The buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. Sold in as is condition with no warranties.
Deposit of $1000.00 due with 24 hours and full payment due within 7 days.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Thanks for looking. . Frank.
