1931 Hupmobile Century Eight, 7 Passenger, Dual Cowl Phaeton Convertible You are looking at a very desirable Pre-war convertible long wheel base Touring car. Two shades of green covered the breathtaking 1931 Hupmobile Century 8 Phaeton. The dual-cowl coachwork by "Raulang", a custom coach-builder of Cleveland, Ohio. Raulang focused on custom town cars and limousine bodies for wealthy clients with cars like Duesenberg"s & Pierce-Arrow"s in the 1920-1940’s . Note its beautifully sculpted touches including a unique aviator-style overhang atop the instrument panel. This Model Century Eight was their premiere line of luxury road cars. this is the only known example of its type known to exist.
