Vehicle description
For sale is my 2011 Volvo C-30 R-Design. I am the original owner (non-smoker) and the car was always dealer serviced by Smythe Volvo in Summit NJ or Huntington Volvo. I have maintained a service file for the vehicle. Last service was December 2019.
The vehicle includes an extra set of Volvo rims mounted on Bridgestone Blizzak winter snow tires. My summer tires are Firestone Indy 500"s mounted on the OEM 18" rims. Never crashed. Oil and fluids regularly renewed. Timing belt replaced at 120K, new air conditioner installed at 128K. Volvo North America rebuilt the engine and replaced the head, valves and water pump at 128K thanks to dealer"s technician error while installing the new air conditioner ( a $3500 mistake which is why I keep records and never allowed an independent mechanic work on the car). I also replaced some worn suspension parts in the front and replaced the upper rear control arms with OEM upgraded design. Volvo never recalled the vehicle but the car went through rear tires because the original OEM camber spec was too negative. The new suspension parts fixed that problem.
The car also includes the Volvo roof rack but not the bicycle attachments. The roof rack was made for Volvo by Thule so any Thule compatible product will work. The vehicle was purchased with the standard R-Design package which means a sportier suspension and the 18 inch tires. Essentially the vehicle is box stock. Automatic transmission.
The car was used but never abused. I used the Volvo to make weekly commutes from New Jersey to Long Island which sums up how the vehicle was used since its purchase date in November 2010. I"m retired now so I just need my Volvo S-60.
