I’m selling my daughters Toyota 4Runner, I got her a more economical car, she likes the 4Runner, but it’s just not a commuter car, more for someone that might want to modify it. The car is stock never used off-road on any hills, the car was my cousins wife that passed and he gave it to my daughter, I just had to get it running.
The check engine light is code 71, I have checked everything out but this come still comes back occasionally. In the last 2 months, replaced power steering pump, steering arm, new tires, front end alignment, tune up, oil change, smogged, AC expansion valve filter and system recharge. Also the rear window switch in the center console does not work, possibly too much coffee, the dash is cracked from the hot California sun, but it has a dash cover so doesn’t look like an eye sore, the factory alarm that I don’t know much about does not work, I never tried to figure out why, might be something simple like programming the remote. The car does not shift into overdrive until the engine is up to temperature, this is something to do with emissions from what I have read online. Drivers seat has some damage as pictured, also a dent below right rear tail light and scratch on bumper. This is a California car that has never experienced road salt, it is rust free, has a tow hitch but has never been used for towing. Car has never been driven hard.
