This is a rare, factory built, replica of a 1952 MG-TD (not a kit car). This replica is serial number 0059 of about 230 units built by British Coach Works, LTD in Arnold, PA. Every year, many MG-TD (replicas) are offered "For Sale" between $8000 & $10,000. However, most replicas vaguely look like the real thing. Therefore, when you find a British Coach Works (BCW - Model 52) replica for sale, expect to pay a little more. Please take a close look my at my photos, and compare them with photos of a real MG-TD (it has a folding windshield, single exhaust, no strap hinges on the hood, & no VW tail lights). This roadster, offers the appearance of a real MG-TD, at less than half the price. The chassis and drivetrain is VW Bug (1600cc, dual-port, 4-cylinder); simple, reliable, durable and cheap to maintain. I am the forth owner, and have owned this replica for 12 years. This vehicle is in very good condition, well maintained and ready to show, drive & enjoy.
