This car was purchased in 2019 through DDR Motorsports, and then completely gone through, and built to what you see today by its current owner. A LOT has been changed and modified from how the car is, or was originally sold.
The exterior design is heavily inspired by the legendary McLaren F1. Please understand this is NOT a McLaren F1 replica. Many things would be different on the car if it was. This is a complete steel tube chassis car with a body that has similar lines and design styling, but not a copy or replica of an Mclaren F1. The GT8 SS is based on the DDR GT8 is completely turnkey and ready for the road now. At 2700lbs and ? hp the GT* SS features a full steel tube chassis. The body is FRP composite and carbon fiber FRP. New 20” CONCAVO wheels - powder coated bronze and in pristine condition. A new APR Performance GT250 Carbon Fiber wing. New K-Sport Kontrol Pro adjustable coilover suspension. This is a drivers car, and the weight to power makes it a blast to drive
Motor
LS4 Motor Interior These cars are originally sold with virtually no interior. I have has tastefully fitted the car. with some modern convenience and an appropriate CUSTOM interior you see now. It"s a great mix of modern and race style interior, Adjustable black Cipher seats on sliders. I am 6ft and 185 lbs and fits comfortably. There is a small space behind the seats for misc goods. Vintage Air A/C(nice and cold), New double DIN 7” touchscreen radio, 360 degree Cameras when car is running. Custom leather center console with cup holders, HDMI charging port, remote start and push button start. Custom installed sound system JL 10" sub, JL amplifier, custom floor speakers and a 6 x 9 rear speaker. MOMO Racing D steering wheel. Diamond plate matte. LED interior cabin light and extras.
Overall
After all the modifications , the car now runs and drives great. It"s a lot of fun to drive, always puts a smile on people"s face and gets a lot of "thumbs up". It"s the ultimate cars and coffee car, Its guaranteed to be the only one like it, and something no one has ever seen. The car now feels and drives solid with no weird squeaks or noises. The color is a gloss Ford GT white, and sun beams off of it. Where else are you going to find UNIQUE supercar looks and performance for $65? Keep in mind the maintenance on this car is a fraction of what you"d spend on a $250K supercar. A new water pump for the GT8 is $88 from AutoZone and easy to do yourself. A new waterpump on a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mclaren, etc is $1000"s and takes weeks to get done by the dealer.
