The C7 Corvette is a gorgeous car on its own, but what if one were available that was an absolute track monster? There is, of course, the much-hyped Z06. But what many forget, is for 2016 only, Chevrolet took the all-ready impressive Z06 a bit further and created 1 of 500 , numbered, street legal version of Chevy"s factory Corvette race team called the C7.R edition. And trust us, this special edition Corvette leaves little to be desired. This example is a rare manual 7 speed stick shift car!
Some might claim that the C7.R is essentially a dressed-up Z06, however, there"s no debate on how incredible this car stands out thanks to the C7.R options. Keep in mind, the C7.R"s option was a $23,000+ option! It got you the following: Black wheels with the yellow stripe in groove, Corvette racing wheel center caps, the Z07 performance package, Yellow brake calipers, Jet Black suede interior, competition seats suede, suede steering wheel and shifter, yellow contrasting stitching, stage 3 carbon fiber interior package, special C7.R interior plaque, special edition logo on seats, Corvette racing sill plate, special indoor car cover - C7R racing graphics, visible carbon fiber ground effects, visible carbon fiber hood insert, and special exterior graphics. Honestly, the exterior of this Corvette is no joke, and any discerning automotive enthusiast will know even at a quick glance that this is not your standard Z06. For those of us crazy enough to drive this car on anything resembling a regular basis, plenty of modern technology for music and Bluetooth connectivity is installed along with power windows, door locks, and seats.
