| “Truck has no issues whatsoever. Truck is solid. i bought the truck off of dennis mccarthy, builder for fast n furious franchise.. they bought 10 4runners to use for the black panther movie.. this one survived. It was sold to me with mechanical damage. all the dashboard lights were lit up and 4wd crawl control systems were malfunctioning.. it took me a good year to troubleshoot the issue, endless hours spent on forums, long story short, i replaced the front ecu actuator on the differential, and everything functions now as it should. This engine and drivetrain are solid, toyota is still putting the 1GR-FE into 2021 4runners, that speaks to the faith and reliability they have in this motor. Its been used in v6 4runners since 2003.” |
