Vehicle description
Up for sale is my beloved 2013 Rebel Blue Polestar edition Volvo C30. It has been VERY gently city-driven in sunny LA, always garaged, never exposed to rain, smoke, or pets. All regular services were performed and all records are available (Volvo Santa Monica and Firestone); no mechanical issues. The interior is VERY clean, I wear booties when I drive it. I have been the only owner of this highly collectible car, it is #239 of only 250 vehicles produced (pic #7). The mileage on the vehicle as of 10/28/18 is only 3831 miles. The car is fully loaded with all of the "extras:" R-Design Limited Edition: (Rebel Blue Paint, 17" Styx Black Alloy Wheels, Polestar increased to 250 hp) C30 Platinum: (Navigation System with RTT, Volvo Premium Sound System, Power Glass Moonroof, Power Driver Seat with Memory, Power Passenger Seat, Soft Loadcover, Active Dual Xenon Headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights, Digital Compass) Climate Package: (Heated Front Seats, Electronic Climate Control, Interior Air Quality System) BLIS: (Blind Spot Information System) Automatic Transmission w/Geartronic
I also upgraded to the All Weather Floormats (originals also included), added OEM Volvo Neck Support Cushions/Pillows (2), Rear and Side Sunscreens, Sunglass Holder, First Aid Kit, and Jumper Cables.
Furthermore: New Volvo issued battery installed by dealer (paid $400 fall 2017). 10000 mile service performed by dealer (paid $500 summer 2018). * *Platinum Extended Warranty* * purchased, which covers mechanical failures thru 04/07/23 or 62785 miles (whichever comes first) with $100 deductible, transfer fee to new owner is only $40 (paid $2000 spring 2017).
However: To begin, in all honesty there a few things worth noting. There is a small scrape on the rear bumper (pic #10), a small scratch on rear passenger wheel (pic #11), and a scrape on the underside of front bumper (pic #12), noticeable only when severely bending down (this was difficult to photograph). These are the only obvious flaws I notice on the exterior of the vehicle. To continue, very shortly after I received the vehicle the rear bumper was replaced (Harry"s Auto Collision Center) because a small tap left a very small dent and scratch on it. Since Volvo sends parts pre-painted it was actually cheaper to replace the bumper than to buff out the existing dent and scratch. The rear bumper did not come with another Polestar badge so I removed the existing badge on the damaged bumper, however it didn"t retain much of it"s adhesive quality and I neither wanted to lose it nor super glue it onto the bumper. I ordered another badge when I had the car serviced this summer, but it"s the badge currently being produced and not the original. I prefer the look of the new badge, but in the end the choice is up to whomever owns the vehicle next which badge to display. Finally, new engine wire harnesses were installed in the summer of 2015 (Volvo Santa Monica).
I"m selling the car to add to the down payment on a property. At the same time I am in no rush to sell. Feel free to ask any other questions. Thank you :-)
