Listed for sale is my 2012 Volkswagen Golf R
This car has been loved and very well maintained for years, I am the second owner, having purchased the car with 5000 miles from a Volkswagen mechanic in 2013. Fairly low mileage at ~38,000 miles. In my experience, the car has been dead reliable, not requiring any major repairs or maintenance or anything. Unfortunately I have no need for a car in the city and need to let her go, I"d like to see her go to a good home. Asking for ~$21,999 OBO. This car is a super reliable, understated, do-everything pocket rocket that will last you for years.
Basic Stats: - ~38,000 Miles - 6 Speed Manual transmission with Hill-stop assist - All wheel drive - No rust - Comes with stock air intake, car cover, trunk organizer, first aid kit, full service records
Modifications: - VWR Cold Air intake (stock intake included) - APR Stage 1 ECU Tune (Raises horsepower from 256 to ~310; also improves gas mileage and pedal response; can easily be turned back to stock) - Window tint on back window and rear/side mirrors - Amber reflectors on front bumper - Clear bra wrap on all bumpers and doors - Tow hook License plate mount (no holes drilled in the front bumper)
Issues : There are no major mechanical issues to speak of, it used to leak coolant a few years ago but that"s all been sorted and hasn"t been an issue since. There"s some minor cosmetic damage but that"s about the extent of it:
- Little curb rash on the wheels - Window tint is peeling on the driver"s rear window
