You are looking at a very clean and very fun Golf R. I am the second owner and have owned it since December of 2016. I purchased the car with 11500 miles on it. Car was factory when I bought it. It has garage kept and adult driven. Car has never been raced, tracked, etc. I have done the mods only for fun and spirited driving on the back country roads of PA. The tuning and DP were performed by Smith VW in DE. The clutch was installed by a local VW shop. I have a 2001 TDI that is my daily however, I will likely drive this from time to time so mileage will change a bit. Right now it is at 55335 and rising!
Upgrades and approximate dates/milage: 3M Crystaline 50 Tint (4 doors, rear window) - Feb 2017 3m PPF - Front Bumper, Hood, Deadlights, Mirrors, A Pillars, Front section of roof, Luggage Strip - Feb 2017 Ceramic Pro Silver Package - Feb 2017 S3 spare tireJack Kit from MK6 Jetta TDI Center Console Opened (ECS Tuning Parts Kit) APR Stage 1 - 17715 miles Remove Snow Guard in Airbox South Bend Stage 3 Daily Clutch, Pressure Plate and Single Mass Flywheel - 18744 miles AWE Downpipe - 31445 miles (passes PA emissions and no CEL!, factory DP still available ) APR Stage 2 - 31445 Golf R Monster Mats (Carpet Mats are with Car too) Michelin Super Sport - 37308 miles (I have Winter Wheels and Tires that go on 5 months of the year, wheels/tires not included) Diesel Geek Short Shifter (Factory parts still available) Oil has been changed using Motul every 5000 miles. (I typically do my own but do have some records when it was in for state inspections) Suntech PPF, Front Bumer, Hood, Roof, Luggage Strip Ceramic Pro Silver Recharge 2019 I am not desperate to sell this but feel it is time for someone else to have some fun. I have a 1970 Type 3 project the some of the money will be going into.
Please note that the car does have almost 55K miles on it. It does have some minor surface scratches on the wheels, bubbles under the PPF from the install. I am not aware of any major issues with the paint, dents, scratches, chips, etc. There were two minor scrapes that happened while not moving that have been repaired. That is why the 3M was replaced with new PPF in 2019"ish. One was a crease in the front bumper the other someones motor cycle fell into the rear bumper.
