This 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI in Dark Grey Metallic was too good for us to pass up. It"s in such good condition, and also was never modified outside of the very mild REV 9 axle back exhaust and a full set of coilovers. It does have a rebuilt title and if you aren’t familiar, this occurs when the insurance company decides the car is too expensive to repair, labels it “salvage”, and then someone buys the “salvage” vehicle, completes the repairs required for it to pass a rigorous DMV inspection, and finally, upon completion, the car is granted a rebuilt title allowing it be road legal once again.
The car was labeled salvage title due to minor front end damage. This one was a head scratcher as I can’t imagine how they totaled this car out with such low mileage and minor damage. Maybe at the time of the accident the headlights cost alone was around $1000 and in combination with a bumper, new fender and hood maybe was enough to total it? Either way the damage was so minor there was no need to even sweat more serious issues like frame damage etc that can happen in more serious collisions.
The work was done by a professional body shop. All of the parts that were replaced are OEM Genuine Subaru. The car has passed Florida state inspection and the title status has been restored from salvage to rebuilt. The mileage is decent for the year, the quality and condition are well above average and the repairs have been executed flawlessly. The car comes with a Florida state inspection and is ready to drive away at your command today.
