RECENT REPAIRS Within the past year, I have done the following: - Replaced the water pump (dealership) - Replaced the timing chain (dealership)
Those are two of the most common high-cost repairs for this vehicle, so I don"t anticipate any other large repairs for quite some time.
OTHER SERVICE INFO I have always done oil changes early. The manual calls for 10,000mi, I ALWAYS changed the oil between 5 and 7,000mi. I had an alignment done about a year ago. I had the DSG fluid flushed and replaced at 90,000 mi. I had a carbon cleaning 6 months ago at the dealership. The Michelin tires have 20,000 miles on them. One tire has a small cut in the sidewall, but I took it in to a tire shop I trust and was told it had no structural damage.
CONDITION One of the wheels had some curb rash when I purchased the car. I never fixed it, but it never bothered me too much. I took off the front plate, but still have the plate holder if you need it. The interior has help up perfectly. No tears in the fabric plaid seats. Steering wheel has expected slight wearing where you hold it, but feels great. I can"t think of any other questions you might have, but feel free to reach out.
REASON FOR SELLING I absolutely loved driving this vehicle. I am selling because my wife and I are saving for a house and I don"t really need a car like this anymore. It drives perfectly and is a ton of fun.
FEATURES - heated seats - bluetooth audio and phone - auto-powered windows - sunroof - back seats fold down (you can put like 8 large IKEA boxes in the back with no issues; I"ve done it) - paddle shifters - heated side mirrors (for icing)
