Vehicle description

This car was bought new in Washington State. It was then purchased by a second owner and the car moved to Georgia. I bought the car in 2017 and moved it to Connecticut. Since being moved to Connecticut the car has been kept in a heated garage. It has never been driven in rain or snow. The car has only been driven in spring/summer after roads have cleared of sand and salt. This car is extremely rare. The research I have done shows that only 30 of these cars were built for North America, only 27 for the United States. Of all the Lotus that are road legal in the United States, I truly believe this is the best you could get. It is the best looking, the fastest, the rarest, and the one with the best chance to continue gaining value into the future. The 2010 facelift for the Exige is a huge improvement in how this car looks. The front end is more squared off and aggressive which I personally love. The S260 is the lightest, most powerful, and best performing Exige that is legal in the US. The Exige is no longer available after the 2011 model year in the US. This car has beautiful Lotus Sport Carbon GT2 seats that truly make the interior of the car feel special. At under 7,200 miles, this is a very low mileage example of this car. So many of these Exige’s will be raced, tracked, crashed, repaired, etc., and this is just a great low mile example in fantastic condition. I must assume this car will continue to grow in value and desirability over time. Performance: 257hp 1.8L supercharged and intercooled 4-cylinder engine Lightweight flywheel Lightweight racing battery Double adjustable Ohlins dampers with remote reservoirs Torsen limited slip differential Accusump engine oil accumulator unit New for 2010 model: Red Alcantera seat inserts and trim Alcantera door panel trim New 5 spoke forged wheels New front and real clamshells styling change Carbon Fiber Components: Carbon Fiber Hard Top Carbon Fiber Access Panels Carbon Fiber Side Scoops Carbon Fiber Dash Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Carbon Fiber Rear Wing Carbon Fiber Seat Shells Carbon Fiber Rear Tailgate / Engine Cover Carbon Fiber Door Sill Covers Other Notes: Includes both (2) original keys to vehicle Working heat and air conditioning Working power windows Working alpine stereo system Aluminum handbrake and gear shift knob Engine start button Optional StarShield clear paint protection film has been applied to the front and lower portions of the car. This is a great option as the car is so low it is prone to getting dirty, so this film protects the paint and makes it easier to clean. This was a factory option that I believe was installed at the Lotus dealer upon arrival in Washington state. There was a factory recall for the Oil Cooler Hose, which was replaced on this car in 2014.
