Vehicle description
This class of car is considered a LOW SPEED VEHICLE (LSV) or as a NEIGHBORHOOD ELECTRIC VEHICLE. It is neither luxurious or fast. but street legal for almost all states on roads rated for 35 mph or less. This 2009 Miles ZX40S-AD was the last year this model was made before Miles went bankrupt. I bought this from a government agency and was uses as a public safety vehicle.
After a full manual charge of the batteries. I ran it up and down the street a few times and up a steep hill and it held 25 mph with no problems. Brakes are noisy from surface rust from long term storage. It has disk brakes in front and drum in rear.
