This all-aluminum 2008 Jaguar XJ8L is a long wheel based model of the iconic Jaguar flagship. With just under 22K miles, it is probably the lowest mileage X358 Jaguar in the country and it is in better-than-new condition with flawless exterior and interior, displaying no visible signs of wear at all, and tasteful cosmetic enhancements with Jaguar OEM parts, resembling the very rare, Super V8 Portfolio model of the same era. While maintaining its original porcelain white paint over beige leather interior with mocha piping, this X358 features multiple cosmetic upgrades compared to a stock XJ8L including 20” genuine Jaguar Kasuga rims, chrome fender vents, chrome mirror covers, lamb wool floormats, and an Alcantara headliner, making the large sedan stand out from the other XJs of the era.
The Porcelain White paint is in exceptional condition. There are no dents or paint blemishes present on the body whatsoever and the chrome and black trim throughout is in as-new condition. All lenses and glass are also in as-new condition. There is no history of accidents or other damage reported. Soft, beige color original leather seats, with mocha piping, are in exceptional condition with no signs of wear. Rear seats appear to have never been sat on. Leather-clad door panels also show no wear. Original mocha carpets are in as-new condition as well, covered with very rare Jaguar OEM lamb-wool floormats installed by the current owner (original floormats are available and will be included with the purchase.) The headliner was replaced by mocha-color Alcantara material, matching the mocha-color interior accent pieces perfectly. Trunk carpet is intact and original showing no signs of wear.
Recent services performed include a new Jaguar-sourced AC compressor and water pump, as well as new brake pads on all four wheels. New, genuine Jaguar-brand 20” Kasuga 9.5” wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires improving the general driving dynamics of this particular X358. All mechanical and electronics are in perfect working order with the most recent oil service performed in October of 2018, less than 1,500 miles ago.
This rock-solid naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 model produces 300 hp (at 6,000 rpm) and 310 ft-lbs (at 4,000 rpms) and is responsible to haul an all-aluminum 3,770 lbs body, which it does comfortably and majestically. Acquired originally in Tennessee, where it was purchased and driven as a weekend car, the XJ8L was purchased by the current collector owner in July 2016 and transported to Los Angeles with just under 13,500 miles on the odometer. Upon arrival, the car was completely serviced and cosmetically improved with era-correct Jaguar Super V8 Portfolio OEM parts, at an additional cost of well over $5,000 (all receipts are available).
