I have owned this car for over 5 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I bought the car from the first owner after the car came out of the rental fleet. The prior owner lived in California and used it as his daily driver. I bought the car with 47,000 miles on it and it currently has 55,000 miles. Since owning the car I have put new tires, brakes and rotors on so all have less than 7,000 miles on them. The car is in very nice condition and shows the wear that comes with being in the rental fleet and being a daily driver at one time, so expect some nicks, but nothing that gets in the way of the appearance or stops the constant flow of people coming up to you to compliment you on the car. Two imperfections that are part the cars Hertz history are some luggage scratches inside the trunk from and a chip on the corner of the hood from when a not so gentle Shelby employee placed the hood on the ground prior to installation. I, like the prior owner, have always garaged the car and I can say the car has not seen a drop of rain during it"s 5+years in Florida. I have all documentation, including original window sticker, 1st title when car was titled to Hertz, Shelby invoice and current title. If you run a carfax you will see one incident involving the prior owner. After just having the stripes redone he saw a car roll forward and tap the rear bumper with his license plate which caused a small tear in the new stripes. The owner chased the guy down and filed a police report which is what generated the carfax. I have a copy of that police report which will come with the car.
I am also including a Carroll Shelby signed airbag cover (Real signature, not autopen). The car comes with the hard to find original Shelby GT-H floor mats as well as another set of floor mats that I bought from the Shelby store. I also have the boot for the top as well as a car cover which will come with car as well. The car is a stunner and with the airbag cover included is attractively priced in my opinion.
