2007 Lotus Exige S in Chilli Red Time to make room in the garage for new toys. This car has been in my possession for nearly 9 years. It is garaged when not being driven and properly stored during winters. I can count on one hand the number of times it has been driven in the rain. Great power and handling. Other Info · Clean title in hand · Letter from Lotus Archives Department with Certificate of Provenance o For the US Market § 106th out of 441 cars for 2007 model year § 3rd out of 15 in Chilli Red § Only Chilli Red Exige in the United States with Touring and Track Pack · Never tracked · Newer A048 tires o Front treadwear 6/32 remaining of 6/32 o Rear treadwear 5/32 remaining of 6/32 · Pre-Federally mandated rear “bumpers” · Featured on the official Lotus Cars website Known issues · Lotus ECU Bug – Upon flashing the ECU, the engine code in the VIN changes to the cup car engine code (“V” to “W”). o This causes the car to not be in a ready state for emissions testing (in Ohio) since the ECU VIN does not match the chassis VIN. o A Lotus recall fixed the problem when flashed at the Lotus dealership. However, re-flashing Koldfire 270 causes the engine code to change again. o I have registered the vehicle as a collector car to avoid having to flash back and forth for emissions testing. · Oil line recall service has not yet been performed. · A few small paint chips and clear bra chips from normal driving. · Small crack in right side running board on underside of vehicle. o Not visible unless under car. o Drilled to prevent the crack from getting bigger. · Small chip in windshield decal. (No chip in the windshield.) · Right front oil cooler rattles against undertray under certain conditions (ambient and oil cooler temperature). Needs a simple adjustment.
