I purchased it on Ebay from a family in Pueblo Colorado down south of Denver. The vehicle was a commuter for a 60-something lady that used it every day until she retired, driving from Pueblo to Colorado Springs on the freeway. They took really good care of it and I"ve done the same. It was dealer serviced all its" life at the Chrysler dealership and they spared no expense. I have a 2" thick folder of receipts including a timing belt / water pump service that was done within the last 20k miles. I have this Jeep and an ol" GMC pickup that I use for work. I just pulled an old Toyota pickup out of storage that I need to finish restoring. .I"m out of parking!, so this Jeep and the GMC need to find new homes. I"ll be sad to see it go, I love these CRD Liberties and have had several, this is the nicest one I"ve had and it"ll make someone a good daily. exterior The vehicle is in good shape. I believe it"s all original paint. It"s never seen road salt, so no rust. There"s a ding in the drivers door down low, a long touched up scratch on the left rear door, lots of rock chips on the front that were touched up because of all the freeway driving, and the front of the roof is faded somewhat. It"s a 200k mile vehicle and not new, but it"s tidy and looks like the photos. There"s no cracks in the glass, doors all open and shut fine, no wind noise, I"ve never had the spare tire cover off? I assume that"s ok. The tires have good snow tread left, but they"re just a little noisy on the highway, not bad. interior The inside is very clean. It"s never been smoked in, they didn"t have animals. I have a little Pug that goes everywhere with me so I cover the seats as much as possible. I recently pulled out the front seats and pressure washed them and shampoo"d all the carpet and rear upholstery, so it all just looks really nice, no rips or burns or bad stains. Everything works inside like perfect, air blows cold. I have 2 clicker keys, and like I said, a ton of service records. I have a trunk liner for it as well, need to wash that but I"ll include it. build / mech / misc When I bought this Jeep the owner told me it needed glow plugs. I replaced all 4 with new Mopar plugs, and replaced the Bosch relay while I was in there. I also removed the EGR valve and cleaned it out really well. I"ve changed the oil every 3k miles since I"ve had it, and I did the fuel filter a few thousand miles ago. The oil in it now has about 1000 miles on it. I replaced a few of the hoses that were a little tired from the PCV system, and a coolant hose, the coolant level sensor, and a power steering line that someone left loose, other than that, it"s just been a perfect little truck for me. I think I put 20k miles on it? The brakes are good, no check engine light, motor fires right up and purrs every time. It"s also quite dry underneath for a diesel with some mileage. The PCV hoses were sweating for a while which you could see a little buildup, but it doesn"t drip or leak anywhere I"m aware of. I don"t drive it hard even though it"ll roll some coal if you get on it. :) If you"ve ever had one of these, you know they"re fun to drive.
