Vehicle description
This car was bought new by my Sister and maintained meticulously at the Jaguar dealer in Santa Barbara, CA. I purchased the car for my daughter in 2013, before she had her drivers license. She seldom drives, and it has mostly been parked outside under a car cover.
The Bad: The engine control unit, ECU, will not communicate with the State of California"s DMV smog certification computer, so I have been unable to smog it in California. It will occasionally show suspension fault warning lights. I was told that it probably needs a new ECU. There are used Jag ECU"s available on eBay.
There is a broken right side indicator light and dent in right front quarter panel. Also, the Jaguar emblem fell off and is now in the glove box.
The Good: Interior and paint are in good condition and the car runs strong. No rust. The car has always been driven easily.
