Toyota Corolla . sold as is I INCLUDED MANY OF THE MAIN BLEMISHES.
THE FLOOR PAN IN THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WAS REPAIRED BUT I BELIEVE IT MAY NEED A LITTLE ATTENTION IF YOU WANT IT TO LAST.
Sunroof motor was replaced but needs to be pulled before you try to make the roof open. When it was installed the roof was not completely shut and this means the switch will bottom out in the wrong spot. all you got to do is pull the roof down alittle by hand after removing the easily removable molding and turn 2 bolts with a socket wrench to take out the motor. then you have to push the button down till it stops, and as long as the roof is in the shut position you just got to put it back in and your all set.the roof was sealed with plastidip and it can peel off. the sunroof seems to leak out the middle where i am pointing on the picture except on the inside. The shifter linkage (not cables) need some lube and are a little stiff. It should loosen up or might need more lube but its getting looser. The battery will be fresh if i can get another swapped out for free from walmart. this one was a dud and purchased less than a year ago. Possibly, I didn"t drive it enough. The engine Drives great and has plenty of power. Tranny shifts through all gearsClutch still grabs good Brakes work great, Passed inspection and i barely drove it. I had a check engine light and i believe I replaced the gas cap. but could possibly be the O2 sensor or wiring plug. . believe it was p0037 code.The Ac Needs attention. The car comes with a can of refrigerant but the dispenser does not seem to work with it so i never recharged it. There is more i don"t remember but the worst I listed above and its not bad for the price. When i drove it i thought it was well worth the money i paid $1600 and put like $200 AND A BUNCH OF MY TIME. IM STARTING THE LISTING AT THE FAIR AUCTION PRICE OF $1500 SINCE COMPARATIVELY PRICED GO-KARTS GO FOR AT LEAST THAT. . LOL GOOD LOGIC RIGHT. THE ENGINE HAS HIGH MILAGE BUT KEEPS GOOD OIL FOR THE LITTLE I DROVE IT, AND DOESN"T SEEM TO BURN ANY SO THATS REASSURING FOR THIS AGE AND REALLY GOOD COMPARED TO COMPETITIVE VEHICLES OF DIFFERENT BRANDS THAT BURN OIL AS EARLY AS 80K. SHES A GREAT CAR. NO AC AND NEEDS A SUNROOF REPAIR THE CENTER CONSOLE HAS SOME LOOSE ENDS AND COULD USE SOME CLIPS REPAIRED OR A WHOLE NEW CENTER console WHICH YOU CAN GET AT MANY JUNK YARDS AND ON EBAY FOR CHEAP. iF IT NEEDS AN O2 SENSOR THAT WOULD BE CHEAP ALSO IN THIS CASE LIKE 25 DOLLARS. OK THATS ALL I REMEMBER IF I GOT MORE ILL UPDATE. THE CAR IS WORTH $2000 IN MY OPINION AND CAN PROBABLY BE FLIPPED FOR THAT. AND I JUST DID THE AIRBAG RECALL WITH TOYOTA. I have 3 cars and this one needs to go since i only put a few miles on it cuz it always needed something. now the inspection is up so ill let u drive it in my dead end road if you want. Everything i said above should be verified before purchase and any other concerns as well because thats how old cars are sold. AS IS CONDITION. IF YOU DO NOT INSPECT THE CAR BEFORE PURCHASE YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE ANY RISKS THAT COME WITH THAT, INCLUDING IF I MESSED UP OR USED DIFFERENT LANGUAGE THAN YOU WOULD HAVE. . REALLY PEOPLE. . I KNOW ALL THE SCAMS AND I HAVE DONE ALL I CAN TO BE UP FRONT. THE BATTERY WILL GO IN SOON AND THEN I WILL DRIVE IT A LITTLE IN MY DEAD END ROAD AND I WILL POST ALL ELSE I CAN TO HELP YOU MAKE A GOOD DECISION. I PRICE THE CAR LOWER THAN WHAT I PAID AND ITS MUCH BETTER THAN THE DAY I BOUGHT IT.
Update i looked at the AC because i heard a noise there and i see a plug undone near the AC. I don"t see the other end since i don"t have a good view. possibly why it does not work.
Ok I installed the battery and it started up and ran fine but there is a little brake noise that got a little better from my short ride in my dead end. The ride was cut short because i needed gas. . without an inspection i could not get any. But started and drove as expected. Ill post any more updates I can add gas for a test drive and i Also wanted to include a test drive from a while back when i tried selling it without the airbag recall and didnt know why it was not selling. . https:/ www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxpm8AgdQ-Q The car has aged 6 Months about since then but starts and drives similar.
The last time it sold for 3200 and the buyer was apparently located in "Puerto Rico" reselling the car to illegal immigrants i believe. They left me waiting for payment and showed up to waist my time after the auction ended. Their loss your gain. This time there will be a 300$ deposit and you can only see the car after you pay me for what you bid on. . Because you have the opportunity to do that before you show up. . There may be a few more miles on it but not many from test drives or moving it around.
I think she looks rougher than in the pics so i strongly ask you to make arrangements to see it first. I priced it more than fare and expect it to sell for 2-3000 but started auction at 1500 If it didn"t cost 25$ extra i would have included the other pictures. the worst of it is now there is a little paint bubbling on one of the rocker panels and there are a few small dents not visible in the pics. Again come see it. .
