2004 Subaru Impreza Sti Black Java Pearl 123,544 miles, vehicle has a salvage tittle, fresh water flood from few months back parked on side of the road and passenger side got flooded, vehicles wiring in tact but pcm will need replaced since it sits at passenger floor board, carpet is out but not a big deal.
Im using the current 6 speed in my Forester, and brembo calipers.
The sti has new tomeika calipers in rear, with new parking breaks and 2 piston fronts calipers, factory rally struts, coils, aluminum control arms, 5x100 hubs and fordged bbs wheels hard to find.
The engine may need reringed just in case water,fuel got built in combustion chamber and blew past rings I drained a fair amount of ethanol out of the engine so someone tried to save it or flooded it. Vf39 all electronics are good.
Body is in near perfect condition still needs washed though.
So what you will need to get it on the road, estimated pricing 04 Sti pcm $200 or less, Subaru wrx 5 speed $500, clutch $400, refreshing engine if your "Understand"what your doing ring packs are less than $80, rod bearings $200 and gasket set around $200, then spark plugs oil coolant, timing kit$300, 2 front hubs, bearings $300, parking brake cable $80.
I"m giving you this estimated information so you can be informed and get this car back up and running I want to fix it but I am moving locations and could use the funds for a deposit.
I"m able to do the work on the car to get it back and running won"t be my first.
I have a 5 speed case and gear set that I can add or rebuild it for the car, and some other Subaru parts if wanted.
For this you can spend the 3k and have a built running driving registered Sti, for a fraction of the price, current market price for used with similar milage 04-05sti are $16,500+.
