NO RESERVE AUCTION!Jaguar XJR . supercharged. Runs excellent!. Body and paint is in great shape. There are a rock chips on the front bumper (shown in the pic, interior is in great shape, leather is good, there is sagging of the headliner and it has come apart from the moonroof. and the rims have slight curb rash on the outer stainless trim ring as shown in the pics. This trim ring can be replaced on the rims, but the cheapest i could find them for was $175 each so I left them alone.I have owned the car for 4 years now put about 20,000 miles on it and have never had a problem. Purchased it from a middle aged man, who is the second or third owner, Original owners of these vehicles are always on the older side, who maintain the vehicle striclty through the dealership, you always know what your gettin with a jag xj, Outstanding vehicle, supercharged 4.2 pulls hard runs great, Transmission never skips a beat! The powertrain in these year jags are truly what they say as bulletproof. Probably still have another 100,000 miles before failure. Still feels new, I have owned r-type jaguars in the past with 40,000 miles on the clock and the feel is similiar with this one at 146,000. I always maintatin my cars, and all i have done to this car is oil changes every 3000 miles, replaced the front two airshocks with new ones, and brand new battery.The bad: Up until now the vehicle has developed an electrical glitch, Runs drives great, starts up everyday, but the traction control light is on which means traction control is disabled, check engine light is on, and everytime you turn the windshield wipers on , the vehicle will lose power and stall, If you keep the wiper switch off the vehicle runs fine, this is intermittent, it will do it most of the time , and sometimes it will not cause the vehicle to stall, I have just been driving it on sunny days. I read somewhere that its a common problem. Also the fog light button will engage the wipers and the vehicle will not stall. So if you happen to get caught in some rain you could use the fog light button to engage the wipers and it will not cause the car to die. Also the front end suspension needs refreshing, mainly bushings! The lower control arm on the pass front has slight play in it , Bushings can be purchased cheap, just press the old ones out and press the new ones in the control arm, control arm must be removed from the car to do this but regardless its a simple procedure, The pass front lower control arm is the only component with "play" in it, but rule of thumb is to replace everything on both sides of the vehicle, So technically the front end suspension needs refreshing. Also the moonroof is tied down because it is not connected to anything , There are some brackets missing , brackets kit can be purchased on ebay for $100.The tint on the pass window is starting to peel off. And the car will be needing front brakes and rotors soon! I would fix all these things and drive the car , I love these cars, but currently I am trying to sell all my vehicles and anything else of value that I own in order to do some major repairs to My home. If you buy this car you can drive it home wherever that may be! I trust it . I recently made a 500 mile round trip to cincinatti and back no problem! - - THE PICTURES OF FROM 2017 BUT THE VEHICLE STILL LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME!
