For your consideration, my 2003 50th Edition ZO6 Corvette, 9945 miles from new. It is in pristine condition and in my opinion looks and drives as new. If you are looking for a C5 ZO6 in remarkable condition for your collection or just to drive and enjoy, please read on. The car has a clean Carfax, no accidents, and clear California title in hand. The paint is rich and glossy Torch Red with black interior, the most popular color and my personal favorite. I purchased the car as a gift to myself after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer. It has been a dream to own, but I am no longer able to drive it as much as I would like. I spent six months researching and looking before buying this car, as I was looking for a low mileage example in factory stock condition and in the right color that showed pride of ownership. I found it, and this Corvette even smells new inside. I was looking for one that had not been mechanically modified, abused, raced, or used for track days, and to my knowledge this car has not. I wanted a car without any modifications to the motor or the stock Titanium exhaust. The car, with its LS6 V8 and M12 six speed transmission is very quick and fast. The car has some minor cosmetic upgrades like split/white and red taillights, Billet shift knob and handbrake cover, aluminum gas pedal, and ZO6 floor and rear compartment floor mats that can be switched back to stock as the car comes with all original parts should you want to go back to stock. I am also including plain center caps for the wheels, as well as a screen kit for the front brake intakes and red leather covers for the door handles. The car also comes with a custom car cover. During the time I was looking for a ZO6, I read on Corvette Forum that a very small percentage of these cars, 2001-2004, came from the factory with valve springs that could crack under very high rpm driving. So just to be on the safe side and in the interest of protecting my investment, I had Corvette Mike in Anaheim, California, one of the largest and most experienced Corvette restoration and repair facilities on the West Coast, upgrade the valve springs and keepers with a stronger set to prevent any damage to the motor. They know these cars very well and this is a common upgrade. I am including the valve springs the car came with should you want them. The car comes with receipts including the full service performed approx. 300 miles ago, the valve spring upgrade, and and the new battery. Also included is the build sheet for the car from GM, 2 sets of original keys with transponders, with red protective covers, the original 50th Edition ZO6 video, CD, and Folio with matching pen & tire gauge, and ZO6 notepad, all handed down from the previous owners.
