This is a pretty amazing example of a stock and highly equipped 1974 Corvette with Power Brakes, Power Steering, Electric Windows, Air Conditioning, Stereo and only 66,000 original miles.
Starts with 1 pump of the gas. Great compression (around 180psi) All the gauges work, No smoke, No oil leaks. Immaculate red interior, all original parts, immaculate convertible top, original owners manual, no customization.
Awesome JL 700w 5 channel stereo with Harmon Kardon speakers and an 8" kicker subwoofer. Bluetooth connectivity + a (pop up) loaded GPS SAT NAV system with back up camera. Sounds AMAZING!
I"ve just added some pictures with the latest ($300) L.E.D G6 bulbs in NEW vintage-look H4 glass lenses.
I still have the sealed beam ones boxed up for the car shows - but if you"re going to drive at night, I can"t express how good these new projector bulbs are! They throw light for 3 times the distance as the old yellow bulbs. You press the "Bright" foot pedal and you can see everything!
Even better than Xenon! It makes driving a fast car at night so safe. Less draw on the (New $150!) battery - the "Battery" gauge is noticeably further over to the + side.
Just had the brakes serviced. New caliper + power servo + bleed + fluids. (A $500 service.) It stops like a new car!
Was purchased for $21,000 in 2003 (see pic of invoice) at 65,000 miles and has done only 1,000 miles in the last 15 years!
Take a look underneath the car. The steel looks like it rolled out of St. Louis, Missouri yesterday.
Takes off like a rocket and looks incredibly classy in its factory white (10L paint code) Rides on factory Corvette Rally Wheels and period appropriate Goodyear Eagle lettered rubber!
An unmolested show-ready example of a factory 1974 convertible - at the price that will guarantee a return on investment (after you have enjoyed it for 10 years!)
The vast majority of Corvettes in 1974 were sport coupes. Only 5,474 out of 37,502 were convertibles - which have become the most sought after example of the marque!
