| “ Excellent Condition. A close look will see some rock chips in the front facia but you have to look close. The tires have 10k miles on them and ride like new. The driver seat has two very small areas where the stitches pulled apart but I will have them repaired before I deliver the car. Lastly, the fully load model back then came with an in dash CD player as well as a ten disk changer in the trunk. That hasn't work in a while ( the in dash unit works fine ) It never mattered to us so I didn't look into it. If the buyer wants I'll take it to the dealer and get it running again ( and get my 10 CD's out from 15 years ago). Probably a fuse. My plan was to get a radio guy to grab the wire and make it a port for cell phone music. Never got around to it. ” |

This has been my personal toy since we took a museum delivery in April of 03. It went straight to Detroit for this custom work by AAT, who obtained the license from Chevrolet to build this 50th anniversary edition. When we picked it up they ceremoniously let us place the original 1953 car emblem on the front hood which they obtained from Chevrolet. This is a fully loaded convertible including HUD. I have other Corvettes but none get the attention that this one does, on every trip. Honks, thumbs up and lots of photos and questions. I have been asked to sell it through the years and never thought I would. Today I spend much time with my flying toys and find that this trophy car sits on a battery tender, under a cover most of the time. When I first got it we took it to a major corvette show. We won Best of Show and Peoples Choice. I felt a little guilty since the other guys there spent so much time on their cars and I just wrote a check. We never went back, with this car. I have more in it than I am asking for it. See my 100% positive Ebay feedback. I"ll set an opening price but will consider a quick buy it now above that. Also, I have pics of the transformation for the auction winner. I will help a shipper if needed, I have used Uship a lot.
