Vehicle description
Selling my 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan MV with heated seats and sunroof.
221k miles. Runs and drives excellent.
Body isn"t perfect, but in great shape for the year. Few rust bubbles starting in typical areas like the bottom of wheel wells and gas door.
Everything works as it should. All electronics.
AC blows cold.
Lots of service records since new.
Have clean carfax with no accidents.
Carfax shows service records from previous owners.
Here is a list of repairs done recently:
-4 new tires last month
-tie rod assemblies
-all ball joints
-new lower control arms
-all 4 bilstein struts
-front bearings
-plugs and coils
-sway bar links
-muffler
-transmission side cover and gasket (tend to rust and leak)
-both front calipers
-transmission filter, gasket, and fluid (changed 2 times while I owned it)
-rear lift gate struts
-all ebrake components, cables, connectors, springs, etc.
-pads and rotors were done few years back. But because I don"t drive it that often, they are not as smooth anymore. All parts are good brands, such as bosch, wix, centric, beck/arnley, bilstein, flennor, moog, and oem vw. Also comes with some extra oil filters.
I am selling because I don"t use it as much as I want to. Don"t take as many road trips with the family to justify keeping it. I took it to Myrtle beach a few times and it was a pleasant drive. It handles very well on the highway. It will not come with the aftermarket stereo, I have a stock one I will be putting back in. I have the other middle seat. When I first got it, I took the interior apart to clean it.
Front carpet is mint. Still covered in protective plastic since cleaning. It"s been around 3 years, so that"s why the plastic on the drivers area is yellowing from use. Underneath the carpet is mint. I let it dry out completely before applying the plastic.
The back is mostly great, except one area where it looks like it was bleached (see photo). You might be able to fix that with fabric stain spray paint. I have put new carpet over the original. You can always remove it by removing the seats, or cutting up the carpet in pieces to avoid seat removal. I"d have full confidence in taking it cross country. I reserve the right to end listing at any time and cancel sale if sold locally. I have set payment due in 3 days. However, I can work with you depending on circumstances. Vehicles sold AS-IS.
