Hoping to find a good home for our beloved "Vango": The Good: starts every time, it"s all there, new transmission, good brakes and tires. Frame is solid. Interior needs a cleaning (our three boys learned how to drive on this VW) - no rips or odors (miraculously). Clear title in hand. The Bad: although the transmission is new (the old one failed and was replaced a year ago) - it needs a torque converter; so it does not shift into overdrive. .no long distances at highway speeds. We"ve been driving her around town to run errands and short trips in this condition for the past year. So if you"re coming to pick up I"d recommend a tow unless you"re close by or don"t mind keeping her at 60 MPH on the highway (that works too). The Ugly: she must have had a re-spray before we got her (over 10 years ago) and it has not worn well. Has chips and scratches, especially on the front hood. Has a crack on the wind shield (lower passenger side). There are rust bubbles starting around the lower edges of the wheel wells. I"ve tried to describe the Eurovan as best as possible: have a pile of maintenance records and transmission documentation. .please feel free to contact me with questions.
