Vehicle description
Greetings all,
Re-submitted for your approval is an exceedingly rare VW Westfalia Weekender. Though this auction was won last week, the guy just decided he didn"t feel like paying. So now has banned him from bidding this time around and hopefully they spiked his bottom while they were at it. But that, as they say is life.
As to this vehicle, I bought it, as retirement is just around the corner, and I thought I"d do a lot of customizing of this tiny-home on wheels. But then a neighbor sold me his Honda ecamper, which was also quite a bit newer. So "this" one has to go to pay for "that" one. I"ve put at least six grand into repairing things. .battery, struts, alternator, honestly all the mechanical stuff that my mechanic could fid under the hood. The top also has a brand new canvas top, "never been slept in. As this is almost a 20-year old vehicle, its not perfect. The left side mirror works fine, but the gizmo inside doesn"t. Also, the ABS is not currently working. But that being said, the brakes stop just fine. The ABS system is for braking on ice and such. Do a little internet searching and you"ll find out more about this. I"ve lowered the reserve this time around, so best of luck to everyone out there who just wants to get out of the house!
