Vehicle description
I am selling my stock and unmolested low-mileage 2001 Viggen Convertible. I purchased this car in April of 2016 as a pleasure/weekend car and have put roughly 800 miles on it since. It is a wonderful car, but I simply don"t have time to enjoy it, and so I"ve decided to sell it to a fellow Saab enthusiast. The car was originally registered in Massachusetts and then moved to California in 2004. It stayed in California until 2013/14 when the second owner moved to Albany, NY. The car was garaged by the second owner, and by myself. It looks like it was garaged its entire life, but I can"t speak for the first owner. Additionally I have maintenance receipts dating back to 2006. The car has a clean Carfax (available upon request) with no accidents or title issues. I hold a clean NY title to the car. This car is in excellent overall condition and ready to drive and enjoy. The paint is beautiful and has a very deep shine and very few blemishes. The only defects of note are a small dent on the hood (smaller than a dime) and some scratches on the bottom corner of the driver door. Pictures of both are included in the ad gallery. There are minor stone chips on the hood that are appropriate for the mileage. The interior is pristine, with only slight wear on the driver"s outer bolster and gear shift knob. Overall the leather is soft and supple and shows no signs of fading or sun damage. The carpets and everything else are clean tidy. New carpet mats purchased from eSaabparts were recently installed. All accessories and electronics work as they should; including the electric top, cruise control, stereo, and all windows. There are no dead pixels on any of the screens, the AC blows cold, and the heated seats warm right up. Mechanically the car is fully sorted. The engine starts immediately and pulls strongly everywhere. The transmission shifts well, with no noise or gear engagement issues. The suspension is tight, the wheels are true, and the tires have low mileage. During my ownership I have changed the oil, installed European glass headlight lenses, replaced the broken sun visor clips and some interior trim that showed signs of wear, and kept the car clean and garaged. The only known issue is a torn piece of rubber trim along the base of the convertible top. This is an incredibly clean and low-mileage Viggen Convertible. Make it yours.
