But I can not find the maintenance records from the previous owner showing all the engine work completed a few years ago. My loss. And we just don"t need this vehicle anymore. But after putting a lot of work and detail into it we found the Rust Free Bronco he had been looking for years for. (figures). So we bought it and no longer need this Clean, Rust Free, well driving, well maintained Jeep Cherokee 4x4. Just trying to get our money back out of it. Please check out all the pictures. Its not perfect but is really nice and needs nothing to drive anywhere. Would make an EXCELLENT Christmas gift for anyone. Safe, Clean, Dependable, 4x4, Good gas mileage, dual air bags, low insurance rates! It is available for inspection in person if you are near or want to travel to Northwest Tennessee. Just message me. This is a nice Rust Free 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. Very well maintained and truly looks and drives like a 5 year old, 75k mile Jeep. I will break down the description in detail the best I can. Please read entire description and message me with any questions prior to bidding! LOW RESERVE. It is hard to find a truly rust free Cherokee in this Classic body style. MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL Everything on this Jeep is in working order. Starts, runs and drives smooth. No dummy lights illuminated on dash. No weird noises. Does not smoke or burn any oil. Truly drives like a 75k mile Jeep. the 4.0L is known for going forever as long as it is maintained and this Jeep has been meticulously maintained. I had a folder of maintenance performed over the last 10 years but have unfortunately lost the folder. Recently had Spark Plugs replaced. Automatic Transmission shifts smooth. 4wd transfer case shifts smooth into and out of both 4wd Lo and High. EXTERIOR Exterior is clean. Original White paint with a few areas that have touch up paint of chips / scratches. I tried to take close up pictures of the touch up paint areas. see pics. All the Black on the lower body, Bumpers, and Grille is sprayed on bedliner. Inside of doors was done as well to match exterior. The white paint could use waxing. There is a small ding (hesitant to call it a dent because it is so small and hard to see) on both the front top of fenders and top edge of rear Liftgate. Very hard to see but took close up pictures of them. See pics. All glass is clean and clear, no cracks or scratches. Factory tinted rear windows. All Exterior Lights and blinkers etc are in good working order. INTERIOR Interior is in above average condition for an almost 20 year old vehicle. All seats look great, no tears (except drivers bottom side seat bolster, looks like it had tears and had a bad vinyl repair job done.) I had a quote from a local Upholsterer of $100 to replace the bad looking vinyl side bolster. See Pics. No cracks in dash, no cigarette or other bad smells. NEW Headliner last month. NEW thick rubber Mud Floormats front, rear and cargo area last week. Still has the original spare tire mounted in rear and also includes a 5th full size spare that matches the rest of the wheels on it. All interior lights, gauges, power windows and locks, AC, Heat, are in good working order. Factory Radio works good. SUSPENSION / DRIVELINE / UNDERBODY Jeep has a 3.5" Front lift and 3" Rear lift. Skyjacker 3.5" coil spring spacer with Daystar extended bump stops in front and 3" Add a Leaf in rear leaf springs. New Supreme Suspension Shocks in Front and Rear. Has like new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 18" Rims with 255 70 18 All Terrain tires (about 75% Tread life left) see pics. Mounted on 1.25" width hub centric 4.5 to 5 x 5 bolt pattern spacers. Auction also includes the 4 original wheels painted dark gray with 235 75 15 All Terrain Tires (about 20% Tread Life left). See Pics. Underbody looks very nice. See Pics. Underbody was recently sprayed with a rust inhibitor and undercoated. No Rot. Might be a few minor areas of surface corrosion on bolts etc. Muffler is rusted but functions as it should. We had planned on replacing the Exhaust system from the Catalytic Converter back. Suspension drives tight. no weird noises, clunks, clangs, etc. . I also have the front license plate mount and screws, just not installed. I have tried to be as detailed as possible but if I forgot any particular area or item please message me and I will respond with an answer promptly. It is an almost 20 year old vehicle so don"t expect a new vehicle but it is in well above average condition. I would not hesitate to jump in and drive it anywhere. Needs nothing to be a daily driver.
