i have a 1991 jeep cherokee limited, that has done a bang up job for me hunting and playing in west texas, never in the mud unless it had to,, owned by an older person that. because i"m slightly bigger around the belly than most and can mess with my welder i bought the two door model doors and installed them on my four door model at the same time cutting down my back doors by the same amount to still use them for storing my guns and backpacks to all my climbing. if you look at the sides of the jeep you can see how the doors look it makes a great side and the slider for the driver side is also lowered so it is easier to get in. i removed wired that were unnecessary and left it open to better see with the clear tube,, just my thoughts. the engine had over 275,000 and finally gave up found another one with only 105,000 from a 96".the trans is running a little rough right now ,probably needs to be changed ,along with the filter the oil that is ,, i have not used it in over four years due to health issues ,, moving from hunting ozona, back to columbus area. engine starts right up have extra radio sitting around with some speakers but i know sept is here and hunting season is now ,,, and things need to get to hunting camp,, you migh not have the deep pockets for one of those fancy rigs that cost 10,000. but for 1,800.00 you can have a hunting jeep that works ,, four wheel works,, no over heating , small rust in usual places very small. off road lights, 4x6 3/16 thick, front bumper mounted to frame with place to hook-up winch front or back . .
