About this vehicle Up for sale is my 2001 Honda Insight. She runs great, the hybrid battery is a bit tired but it works fine if it is discharged and then re-charged regularly. I have driven her twice from New York to California and back without any problems., and have averaged about 75 mpg on the highway. Under the more challenging conditions in New York City the mileage has been closer to 50 but that was during a period when I was commuting during rush hour in bumper-to-bumper stop and go traffic. The body is in reasonably good shape apart from the missing wheel skirts but there are a couple of dings. Latch on the hood will need to be TIG welded to work properly The rear tires are in great shape, front tires are going to need replacement soon. I have an extra tire with about half the tread left that is unmounted that I will include. The fuel door latch is broken, and the passenger side door can only be opened from the inside. The 12 V battery is brand new. Rear suspension has been upgraded with heavy duty springs and adjustable shock absorbers.
