WOW, look a gorgeous 2001 Dodge Ram SLT+ 3500 4x4 in excellent condition. I purchased this truck new in 2000, yes I am the original owner. SLT+ was the highest optioned truck, the only option I didn"t get was the tow mirrors that were not electric, but I have installed a set of after market that flip up just like the originals. To much to list on what has been replaced, so here goes. On the AC the only thing that is not new is the condenser. Newer starter and was brand new when installed, alternator has been rebuilt, has newer heater core, water pump thermostat and radiator are new. Lift pump and injection pump have recently been replaced. Transmission has been rebuilt, and upgraded so no weak points anymore, with a reprogrammed valve-body. Newer brakes all around, new rotors, pads, calipers on the front, new shoes and drums on the rear. Front end has been rebuilt recently and tires are wearing better than they ever have. Newer tires and brand new spare with a spare tire that has never been mounted with the factory cable and lock in place., I purchased 8 when last replaced. Newer power steering pump. It has had a recent repaint a little over a year ago. The only oil ran in her is AMSOIL which is specially formulated for diesels. It has a block warmer, this winter when we had a hard freeze my neighbors 2020 GMC would not start and stay running. Mine fired right up no problems. The dash is from LMC, made better than the original, and the caging that all gauges and switches mount to has been replaced and is as close to new as one could get. It is a solid, very clean rust free truck. This truck has ZERO blow-by, the turbo is original and works like new, and the exhaust is all original as well. I am sure there are things I am forgetting. I would trust this truck to take across the country, it even chirps when shut off like it did new. Look this is a gorgeous truck that has been very well maintained, worked a little but not over worked or ever abused. Has never seen off road. One of the toolbox locks just broke, so I replaced both. There are a few things that do not work like the drivers heated seat, but very fixable. The rear part of drivers seat does not adjust up, bad motor. And finally the Vanity mirrors. Not perfect but very close to it. You can ask anyone I know I am anal about this vehicle, as I am with all of my vehicles. I have purchased a new one the only reason I am reluctantly selling I don"t have the room to keep her.
