| “Runs great! There is a few issues most are are normal wear and tear over the last 18 years. There is a battery drain problem. If the car sits for a few days battery will drain down. After lots of diagnosing by myself and mechanic, we have narrowed it down to alarm system pulling the drain. I wanted to bypass it but didn't want to change the stock setup.” |

Up for Auction- 2001 Audi tt quattro 225 hp With 104020 miles. This is my mother in law"s car that I"m trying to sell for her. She bought the car in June of this year. She decided it wasn"t a car for her. My mother in law bought the car from her best friend which she bought the car brand new off the lot back in 2001. It was owned it"s whole life by her and the husband and well maintained. They just retired and couldn"t get in and out of the car anymore. The car runs amazing. . I had no idea how well Audi"s are put together. First time I"ve ever drove an Audi. The handling, steering and quickness of the car makes them a super fun car to drive. There is a few minor issues with the car. The first biggest problem is that there is a battery drain problem. If the car sits for too long the battery will drain down. After taking it to two different mechanics we came to the conclusion it was the alarm system causing the drained battery. Fixing it, I still haven"t had time to get it back to the shop and I wanted to just bypass the alarm system if I was going to keep the car but didn"t want to change it from stock. There is the normal wear and tear of the car over the past 18 years. Wheels are starting to lose coating, Driver"s side mirror the backing is peeling, There are 2 dings on the passenger side (pictured), glove box handle is broken, LCD screen on instrument cluster works intermittently (known to fail on these cars), Map light sits a little loose in the headliner, driver side door handle microswitch is not working. The car mechanically runs amazing. . It shifts smooth, the engine runs good, had the car up on a car lift and the front end is Tight. Had no idea how well Audi"s are put together. First time I"ve ever drove an Audi. The handling, steering and quickness of the car makes them a super fun car to drive.
I was going to buy this car from my mother in law but it"s just not a good family car. . lol. Also I"m 6"4" 270 pounds. I have a hard time fitting into this car.
Also included in sale. . i2 spare wheels, spare map light (clips are broken) and a spare CCM (needs programmed to car I believe).
Buyer needs to arrange shipping a $500 deposit is required within 24 hours after auction ending.
