The time has come to sell our beloved Land Cruiser. We are the 2nd owners. The first owner being our pastors wife. She kept it immaculate & it was always garaged. Shortly after my wife & I procured it, we moved into a beautiful, albeit REALLY old home. The home had such a beautiful tree in the front yard. The selling point for us in fact. It had to be well over 100 years old. Well lo & behold the tree didn"t only give us its undying beauty & the casting of its glorious shadow on our porch. .it also liked to drip its lovely sap. We did not find out until the damage had already been done. The roof had several dozen spots where the sap had burned into the paint. No one else would have noticed. I am just far to meticulous to have let it be for too long. So about 1 year ago, I had my good friend, Scott, repaint the entire vehicle an OEM Toyota Tundra TRD Cement Grey color. He owned a high end shop that customized cars and built Hot Rods etc. & did full rotisserie restorations. I employed his skill set to give it a beautiful paint job. This paint would appear to have been done by the Toyota factory. He really went above & beyond for us. While it was at his shop, I had him reupholster the OEM seats in Italian black leather. These are NOT seat covers. He broke the seats down to the bare frames & reassembled the seats back to factory specs while retaining the factory heated seat functions. The smell & feel of the Italian leather is superb. We didn"t stop there though, we had him do a custom sound system as well. We were at the shop looking at the progress of the Land Cruiser, when his customer arrived to pick up his Bentley Super Sport. Upon arrival Scott cranked the stereo system for him & it put a huge smile on all of our faces. I promptly announced "I want what he"s got! " lol. The stereo system turned out phenomenal! It sounds crystal clear with deep, clean bass. We opted to change the head unit out as well. There now resides a Pioneer head unit. Which has GPS & DVD functions. The JL Audio subwoofer in the back is not intrusive to the cargo space, yet provides astounding bass to the entire cab of the vehicle. The Rockford Fosgate speakers adorn the rest of the cab. While being fed by a Rockford Fosgate amplifier. That"s not all. . While it was in Scotts hands we had him install 20" satin black wheels w/ brand new BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. Wait there is more. .we had him install a custom black acrylic steering wheel along with interior trim pieces. It really ties in perfectly with the freshly covered seats. With all this being done at one time, we figured why not freshen up the cosmetics to that of the 2005 Land Cruiser which has the awesome wrap around headlights. Naturally we needed to custom fit a 2005 grill as well. It was all done professionally & it all lines up perfectly. Before it left his shop we had the windows tinted & installed brand new black carpet plush floor mats. Since we had already moved into our new home prior to its completion, there is no tree sap to worry about. It has been garaged since completion (with the exception of the past 4 weeks). Its truly ready for any Land Cruiser enthusiast. The only reason we are selling it is because we lack the space for a 3rd vehicle now that we bought a new Maserati. It sickens me to have seen her sitting outside these past 4 weeks. Its time to let her go to a new home. Anyone reading this knows these motors go forever. Having always been dealer serviced since new, this truck will last a long long time.
