I bought this Landcruiser new. I was the volleyball and kid transport for the first 200K+. I then inherited it from my wife and started building an off-road vehicle. Oddly enough, I did not ever do much serious off roading with it. It came with factory lockers. It has always lived in an arid climate and has no rust or corrosion. Improvements include : 2 ½” Lift 32 Inch tires (speedometer gear adjusted) OME Shocks ARB Bullbar Warn 10,000 Winch Slee Rear Bumper Sliders ARB Rack 38 gallon Aux Fuel tank with indicator and transfer pump. Center Differential Lock Dual Battery with Hellroarer Isolator system. Slee Washer relocation kit. Upgraded Stereo with subwoofer Midland CB Recent Work : New shocks, new tires all around, front bearing rebuild, new radiator, new heater control box, driver’s seat reupholstered Problems : passenger front seat has some seams loosening. The sunshades droop somewhat. There are places where the paint clear coat is peeling. It drips a little oil and uses some oil. There is no smoke from the tailpipe but you definitely have to add oil from time to time. This vehicle drives well and has been 100% reliable for me. I have had it for twenty-five years and it is practically a member of the family so I am having separation anxiety. It is a very capable off road vehicle and I would like to see it in the hands of someone who really appreciates its fine design and usefulness.
