Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Van life dreaming? This groovy 2000 GMC Savana 1500 automatic transmission fiberglass high top was previously a passenger van now converted to a single person getaway camper. Pioneer stereo deck with Bluetooth, backup camera. Non-smoker vehicle, and no shedding pets. Drives excellent (my daily driver) with a solid V8 5.7 ltr engine, with 112,000 miles, gets 11mpg city, and highway mileage should be better. Registered, insured, automatic real wheel drive, two seats (passenger seat swivels), electric windows, and a sensitive car alarm. New tires just before I bought it.It’s a minimalist build with plenty of character. Puc and battery lighting, storage for 8 gallons of bottled water. TONS of storage for food, gear, pet, and clothing. Sound dead was added prior to ½ inch wood flooring laid down. Retro tile on top of wood flooring. 200 watts of Renology flex panels taped to the roof (no added weight using a roof rack!). Two 6v 224Ah AGM batteries, battery charge monitor and capacity tester, huge Aims Inverter, brand new engine battery, and lots more new stuff. I have most of the receipts since I purchased the van back in October 2019. I have a list of items replaced including battery, serpentine belt, fuel pump, back shocks, radiator, and more. Running boards are gone. Back side windows have been sealed off for. Sealed the slider windows so no leaks, and then enclosed with wood covered with fabric. The back is nice and dark and sound deadened. Storage bins in the back, garage storage with lock box for laptop, passports keys and what have yous. In total there are at least 12 storage bins or compartments so you can store seasonal clothes, kitchen gear, food, towels and blankets, and more. Original owner’s manual, two keys, one door lock alarm fob.I pulled off the side door cards to add in insulation, so it’s yours to finish. Seat covers, dashboard mat, booster seat cushion, blackout curtain, reflex shades taped in, and waiting to finish, twinkle lights, two 4” mattresses included with a marine airflow mattress base (it’s Oregon-you don’t want the under mattress to get damp and grow mold!), storage bins, Buddha is velcro attached to the front dash (a place for now to hang your face masks), a BigFoot air freshener, all the accent pieces to show that you are from the West Coast! Yes the van has character. You can look at the front and the bumper shows a dent. I suspect damage and that’s why the radiator needed replacing. There’s also a ripple in the flooring right behind the passenger seat, so the wood flooring I put down doesn’t lay quite flat. Does not hinder anything though. Here’s what's wrong with it: cruise control does not work (may just need a new wire, I don’t know), and the air conditioner does not work-end of life. I’ve had it looked at, and the estimate for the work is more than I’m willing to go the distance for. There are home mechanics out there that will make this project look like buttering bread!I will include all the receipts that I have and a few from the prior owner. Renology panels warranty is through an installer in Hood River. You are welcome to pull Car Fax or have a mechanic inspect prior to purchase. This is a great buy, I’ve worked hard to include many details and I want it to be a good choice for the next adventurer. I’m in Salem and can meet locally after work or by appointment, between Vancouver to Eugene, maybe further-negotiable. I have a Google folder posted that includes part of the build process, bins, bed, bench seat that covers the port-o-loo, sound dead added prior to laying down the floor. List of expenses, mechanical work done, I think I kept everything.
