Vehicle description
Here is a very nice 2000 BMW M5 E39. I purchased this car last year with the intentions of keeping this as my daily driver, but I travel too frequently to be able to make full use of this vehicle. This car has been upgraded with tasteful, yet subtle modifications to enhance the car over stock form. A few of the upgrades included are:
1) M class lightweight 18" black powdercoated wheels, with staggered tire setup
2) Dual chrome pipe cold air intake with air filters directly behind bumpers for best power output & gas mileage
3) Free flow exhaust that gives the car a deep rumble over stock, for better power, but is very subtle, and the cabin stays quiet with no drone.
4) Upgraded Headlights with ANGEL EYE halos that retain OEM Xenon lights
5) Upgraded tail lamps from 2003 M5 with OEM Celis LED lights
6) M sport roof spoiler
7) Rear bumper diffuser
8) Aftermarket Navigation / Radio / CD / DVD stereo system with Bluetooth & surround sound technology. This is a very big step upgrade over stock system which had very poor fidelity.
9) Aftermarket BOSS amplifier connected to rear subwoofers for high bass output
The Vehicle comes with all the upgrades and options available from factory, including side airbags, Ostrich trim leather (which looks visually much better than regular leather pattern), and heated seats, amongst many others.
Vehicle MSRP was $92,700 when brand new. Purchased in Miami, FL. The car shows great care throughout its life, and has always been garaged. The original paint is flawless, except for chips and scratches from road debris.
The Autocheck title shows a problem in the title, but the vehicle is very clean & shows no structural damage. The car runs & drives straight, very smooth, with no vibrations. I believe the problem shows due to an error at a dealer auction at 35,000 miles where the vehicle was announced as with frame damage. I have had this car inspected inside & out by a certified Bavarian mechanic, who found no signs of replaced panels, or damages. Additionally, I think that the frame damage is an error, because the car currently has 148,000 miles on it, and if there was any severe frame damage, it would have manifested itself by now, and the vehicle would not be road worthy after almost 100,000 miles.
I bought this car about 8 months ago, and started the DMV process for registration, but was never able to register the vehicle due to time constraints, and get a title in my hand. I will be giving the new buyer a bill of sale, coming from the previous owner to me, and onto the new buyer, who will then receive the title from DMV. I have already paid about $900 to the DMV for registration & title fees, so the new buyer might not have to pay all those fees again.
I highly recommend anyone interested to come inspect the vehicle in person, or get an inspection done, as I know this car is very well kept, and in very good condition.
All services and maintenance have been kept current, including regular oil changes, complete fluid replacements as necessary, and VANOS system maintained. The clutch feels very strong & the gears shift very solid.
