“ Starts, runs, drives and stops like new! Tight steering, braking, excellent throttle response. Full supersprint exhaust with headers, muffler, cat delete. Evolve r tune good for 500 rwhp. Clutch and smg pump as of 4/18. Tons of dealership maintenance history! Great tread on the BFG G-Force radials, and new brake pads and rotors! This is how you get supercar performance and still manage to have a fighting chance at getting out of a ticket when you get pulled over. We all know law enforcement has a tendency to lay into a hot lambo or ferrari owner unapologetically for fun runs at 200 mph. Well, with the E60 M5, you can achieve the same speeds drama free, and may be able to pull the old "Im late for an important meeting" card. Where as in the lambo, we all know you are full of it, because chances are you own the company having the meeting. 114,000 miles on a ride of this caliber does not happen on accident. This M5 has been very well maintained throughout its life. The most recent and most important would include a new clutch, and new smg pump. The vanos system has had a new lease on life as well. From head to toe this V10 paddle shift monster of a ride has been well loved, much so in a way that will make future ownership very easy and drama free for the next.
The brakes have been recently done, with pads and rotors. Which makes for a very smooth, and firm decel from what ever excessive speed you"ve reached. The SMG transmission in very very good working order. With the evolve r tune assisting with crisp up and downshifts it defies what most feel about these transmissions. Put the car in M mode, grab the 7th shift setting, and prepare for the whiplash. The M5 behaves exactly how you would want it to in any situation. If you are looking to enjoy your commute, sit back, relax, let the dynamic seating keep you right where you are, and enjoy your comfort EDC setting. Looking for some backroads blasting? EDC sport+ M mode has your back! Its not easy to find something that does both so well. Usually you will compromise in one area or the other. Not this particular M5. On to the real reason anyone wants this car. The visceral sound and sex appeal of a V10 revving out to 8500 rpm! With the supersprint headers, cat delete and mufflers, this will knock your socks off! (After a bit of a warm up. . tight tolerance V10s do not appreciate cold starts with immediate revs, I attribute the longevity of this particular car to all previous owners being knowledgeable of that, sorry, back to fun stuff!) There is no drone associated with this set up. Comfortable quiet highway cruising is totally manageable, but should you need to remind some show off along side you who the real boss is, its only a downshift away. Between the Supersprint set up, the Intake and Evolve R tune, this E60 really steps up its game amongst the rest of the pack, and really keeps the driving experience feeling very modern and confidence inspiring.
