Equipped: Jet black exterior Sand leather interior Ski bag ($3250 original option) and includes cargo net, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain sensor and auto headlight, and vavona redwood trim. Roof rails. Power front seats. CD changer. Steptronic automatic transmission ($975 original option) Rear side impact airbags ($385 original option) Moonroof ($1050 original option) Rear manual side window shades ($180 option)
This vehicle spent most of its time in dry climate in Texas. No snow no undercarriage rust.
We fixed the following: Replaced and installed front struts and coil spring assemblies. Replaced all 4 break pads, changed front ABS wheel speed sensor. Replaced the main tailgate shocks ( more complicated than it seems, shocks are hidden into the roof. Installed a new battery. Replaced and installed front sway bar suspension stabilizer link. This 528i has a DSC warning light. Our mechanic scanned and check all system and couldn"t find the fault, therefor the light is still on. Airbag light came after we replaced the battery, might be a quick fix of just deleting the codes. Yet at the time of listing this vehicle the airbag light is on.
This 528i is a looker, it"s a gorgeous looking car, exterior Jet black looks great, although it does show some blemishes, also a small ding on the driver door (one of our vendors will come to pull it out)
Interior match the exterior and again shows some blemishes such as, light stain in the trunk, small crack on the center console wood trim, and cassette cover trim. Please view the 100 pictures plus video at this listing for additional details or contact us at 786.417.0466.
Mechanically it is in perfect working condition, powered by 2.8 liter in-line six engine producing 193 horsepower and 206 ft-lbs of torque, attached to a 5 speed automatic transmission. The transmission shift smoothly. Well aligned and balanced.
All power electrical systems work perfectly including power windows, power locks, power moonroof, power mirrors, power adjustable steering wheel.
I kept this 528i Wagon as my personal demo longer than usual as I enjoyed driving it very much.
In my opinion the fourth-generation E39 5 series is a for the BMW purists, sleek, talented and unrivaled.
Sturdy, well-engineered machines.
But since it"s a wagon, it makes it so much more special and unique.
Driving it, makes it all seem perfect, as it offers a superb handling, responsive engine, and confident braking.
