Vehicle description
They don"t build them like this anymore!
I inherited this 1995 BMW 525i from my late grandfather (the original owner) this year. It is in good condition for a 23 year old car and the mileage is especially low- it was used only for puttering around Long Island and since 2010 or so was barely driven at all. It has been decently maintained and all fluids, brakes, etc. are in good shape. (It passed MA inspection this year and NY inspection last year.) It feels solid in a way that newer luxury cars do not, especially on highways- it"ll glide down the Masspike at 90mph with very little effort.
Carfax report available by request.
FEATURES
- 6 cylinder, 2.5 liter engine (takes mid-grade fuel)
- 90,400 miles
- Automatic transmission
- Rear wheel drive
- ASC and ABS
- Power steering
- Power doors, windows, and mirrors
- Telescoping steering wheel
- Stereo with cassette player and CD changer in trunk
- Dual power seats
- Rich Corinthian leather (jk, but it is a full leather interior)
- Cruise control
- Wood trim
- Multifunction trip computer (ahead of its time!)
- Power sunroof
- Nonfunctioning car phone (impress your friends and feel like a "90s businessman)
- Heated front seats
KNOWN ISSUES
- Check Engine light occasionally comes on and off, but no apparent decline in drive quality or gas mileage
- Front bumper has a minor ding
- Glue on rear trunk cushion panel has dried up
- Normal aesthetic wear and tear (paint scratches, worn leather, trim on gear lever is cracked)
