Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1999 Jeep Cherokee is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Additional items replaced-front ceramic pads, Rear shoes along with hardware. Mobil 1 oil change with Mobil one filter done 1600 miles ago. Front and rear differential fluid changed with synthetic gear oil. K suspension headlight upgrade. Azzys transfer case shift linkage upgrade. Rancho adjustable track bar. Tires have around 6000 miles on them. New Trailer wiring harness. New fog lights with led bulbs. Vehicle Details This low mileage Jeep was bought new and owned by the same person until around June of 2020, 2nd owner only had it for about 2 months (bought for son but he didn’t fit in it) and was sold to me 9/20. Jeep drives beautifully down the road, engine runs great and transmission shifts as it should with no issues. 242 Transfer case shifts great with Azzys design works shift linkage upgrade. All windows and power door locks work well along with A/C and heat. The Cherokee is in great shape, limited trim with leather, heated seats and side mirrors and has new factory fog lights. Driver seat is in nice condition with only slight wear, no tears in leather but there is typical cracking on the side of the seat cushion. Also the power driver seat works but the tilt function is not working correctly but does move forward and back with no issues. Interior is a 9 out of 10, would be a close 10 but the headliner is starting to come down by the visors and a few other spots. Exterior i would say is a 8 out of 10, paint is in nice shape but would Benefit with a good buff and wax, but there’s no fading or peeling paint that I know of. Was owned by a little old lady it’s whole life so it has a fair amount of small dings in the passenger rear door and a slightly bigger ding in the passenger front door, I tried to get them in the picture best I could but it’s hard to see. Driver door has a slight dent in the lower part of the door but again it’s hard to see unless you’re in the right light/position (see picture). Came from Mid/lower Pennsylvania so the body as far as rust is almost nonexistent. Rockers are solid and show no signs of rust, as are all the doors and rear hatch. Had typical Cherokee rear quarter rust but has been removed and sealed and is no longer an issue. There’s no other rust on the Jeep other than the lower part of the driver front fender where the fender flare meets the fender at the very bottom, it is partially rusted through but has been addressed and sealed with POR15 but would need to be repaired correctly to be right if you choose to do so. It’s very hard to see it so I just left it as-is. I just want to be as honest as possible about rust or anything else and I’d be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
