Vehicle description
I"ve regretfully decided to sell my Jeep Cherokee after 18 years of daily driving. We"ve been through many vacations, countless camping trips, weekend road trips, basically everything and all good things must come to an end. It was my car when I got married, it helped us move several times, got family members to work with 12 inches of snow, brought our first kid home from the hospital in it. Now that 3 day old kid is turning 16 and wants a Jeep Wrangler .
Yes, it does have 240,000, and when I tell people that, they think i"m lying. It does not look like it has that many miles nor looks 18 years old. It literally runs like the day I got it. The engine starts immediately every time and the 4x4 runs perfectly. Now, not saying its perfection , as it does come with its flaws. So let me tell whats is wrong, broken and no longer working. The A/C needs a compressor, still blows strong, just not cold anymore. The clip that attaches to the passenger side power window to the motor broke years ago. To keep the window up, I put a 2x4 in the door to hold it up. When doing this, I believe I bent a rod so the passenger side door no longer locks. The driver seat has a broken bracket on the right side, so you tend to "lean back" when driving. The clear coat is peeling in spots. I have hauled our bikes on top several times and the pedals caused several scratches on roof. Those several scratches have now turned into several rust spots. The front passenger side bumper looks like its been hit by passing bikes, numerous shopping carts and possibly a garage wall. Today, when taking photos, I noticed a new dent on the bottom of driver door. I may have missed some things, unaware of others, but did my best to describe the Jeep. With that said, I would have no problem driving it on a cross country road trip tomorrow and have no doubt in my mind that it could go another 250,000 miles.
I only had 24 pics available to upload, so I did by best show the good, the bad and the ugly. If you have any questions, please dont hesisate to reach out to me. Thanks and happybidding.
