About this vehicle This 1999 Honda Prelude is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Everything has been gone over, right down to brand new windshield wipers. Exterior 1999 Honda Prelude Adult Owned and Maintained Southern Car No Rust. Interior 1999 Honda Prelude Base. Very clean car and very well cared for. car spent it’s life in southern states and has never seen salt. 100% rust free. Rare engine failure at 155,000 miles, July of 2013, required new engine. Replacement engine had 100k miles and many other maintenance items were taken care of at that point. Timing belt, water pump, clutch components, radiator, shocks, struts, etc. All shown in receipt. Car has been driven approximately 45k miles since. My son and I traveled halfway across the country to get this car. This was his dream car and is only for sale because we found an exceptional deal on a different vehicle that we both really wanted. One we bought this is we replaced the power steering pump, both belts, rear upper control arms, all new ceramic brake pads along with all four brand new drilled and slotted rotors, brand new performance touring tires with warranty from discount tire, changed manual transmission fluid with OEM Honda fluid, synthetic oil with Mobil 1 filter. 100% original and stock except for K&N cold air intake and filter (also recently cleaned and oiled). Pioneer Apple CarPlay hands free Bluetooth head unit. We are also big music enthusiasts so we had wiring installed for an amplifier and sub woofers which can easily be removed or left for future use. Could also negotiate 2 10” JL audio subwoofers in JL audio enclosure with Audiobahn amplifier that fits perfectly in the trunk and also sounds excellent. Original factory speakers sound great and are original. Also changed multiple gaskets and seals to try to fix minor oil leaks (vtec solenoid, distributor, etc.) and I think we resolved the leaks. Everything works except for the cruis control for some reason. Runs, shifts, and drives perfect. Interior is very clean and has very rare leather seats with Prelude stitched in them (never seen them in another one of these), starting to show a little age with a few cracks and minor signs of wear. Paint is in near excellent condition. some stone chipping on front of hood, one or two minor dings, no scratches, and almost perfect clear coat. One minor spot of slight fading on roof, hardly noticeable but just wanted to mention. AC is ice cold, heat is hot, and all vent functions work properly. Overall a very nice and very presentable car in very well preserved condition. As with any used Honda, this does seem to use a small amount of oil, however, may have been from the leaks we have been working on getting resolved and I think we got them stopped. Does not, and has never smoked so it isn’t burning oil. Leaks may have been from switching it to synthetic oil as well. Deposits are nonrefundable. Created on the Motors app
