Vehicle description
GMC Safari (Astro) Conversion / Camper van! Finish the project, or drive as is! Solid van with Vortec, Everything works! Runs strong, drives good. New battery and other parts. No major problems. Not sure if the engine has been rebuilt, but I suspect it has for the shape it"s in. Has a brand new reversible exhaust fan installed, no leaks. The fan is a must have for camping, and costs over a few hundred dollars alone. As you can see in the pics, the trim around the ceiling fan needs to be finished, it"s an easy process, but how you will do the interior depends on how the trim is measured and cut. I can install it as is too. The interior has some stains - needs some tlc, or you can just take it out for more space - easy fix! All seats have been removed except back bench, which folds down and can be used as a bed. TV / Video system, nice Boss stereo w/ Bluetooth and USB. All electrical outlets work. Really love this van! I put a lot into it and hate to let it go, but I don"t have time, or room to store it. I camped in it last summer, it was great - cozy, secure and convenient. The fan is one of the most important parts of van life, and it"s a good one! It won"t take much - a few shelves and a bed, and this makes a complete stealth camper van, but it"s good to go as it is! Local pickup only.
