Vehicle Details 1996 GMC Safari XT. 4.3L V6. It runs well, but was used as a work van so it's age is revealed in the cosmetics. AC needs some work, but does blow somewhat cool. Seats are all in great shape. Exterior paint is in rough condition. Engine has a new brake booster, newer alternator, good belts and hoses, and good brakes. The transmission was recently serviced as well as the cooling system. Great van for occasional commutes with up to 8 passengers, or can be converted into a work van. The tires have good tread, but have some cracks in them from sitting with minimal driving over the last year or more. Driver and passenger power windows both work well. I have a clear title in hand and am selling this for my father in law who is having some health challenges and is a retired electrician. He acquired this van a couple of years ago and has used it in his electrical business and book business.
