It was the first production Ferrari to feature an all Aluminum space-frame which was 40% stiffer and 28% lighter than the steel one used in the F355.Along with a lightweight frame the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade"s sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine, utilizes a 3.6 liter capacity, flat plane crankshaft, titanium connecting rods and generates 395HP. Despite what on paper, looked like modest gains, in reality, the power-to-weight ratio was significantly improved on over the F355, due to the combination of both reduction in weight and more power. According to Ferrari weight was reduced by 60kg and the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time improved to 4.5 seconds. This Black Beauty has been meticulously cared for and has two large binders documenting all of the service records, original manuals, factory car cover, and factory tool kit. With a clean Carfax and only 24,000 Miles, she is an excellent value and won"t disappoint.
