I"ve owned 11 reproduction/replicas. .3 Meras,(I still own one), Factory Five Cobra,(2) 1 1934 Mercedes 380 Spezial Roadster LH which I still own, Excaliburs, Auburn Boat Tail, Beck Spyder, and 2 Zimmers: NOTHING compares to the fit and finish of ths F355. All panels are by Air Dynamic. .ask anyone who knows, or follow the threads on Pennock or Air Dynamic and you"ll find that everyone agrees: they produce the best F355 in the world. All dimensions are correct. .4 1/2" front clearance, 13.9 " length. and 46 1/2 high. At last year"s Coastal Virginia Auto Show it took 1st place in replicas (see pix). Only a f355 owner can tell the difference, and only after seeing the interior. One car show, one trophy. ."nuf said. Paint is flawless, as is the interior and undersides. Performance: 0-60 sub 5 sec. Every component except the frame (1988 Fiero with Lotus type multi link suspension) is 2002 Pontiac GTP. As the third owner, I had the supercharger up-graded by a local GM3800SC guru to nudge 300HP and 290 ft. lbs. torgue, with new high flow radiator and fan that he reccomended. It really screams when you stand on it. It won"t do 180/190 like the real thing (75 HP shy) but probably quicker from 0 to 70/80MPH, with more horses and torgue and 3/400 lbs lighter. Acceleration is breathtaking and in "sport" mode (button on gearshift) SCARY. Less than 25K miles on engine and drive train. "Heads up" display, tilt wheel, DIC with boost display, avg MPH, avg GPH etc., Cruise control, power: steering, brakes, windows, mirrors, locks, seats. .separate driver/passenger a/c and heat controls, leather seats, overhead storage, OnStar equipped, auto pop-up touch screen (with remote)AM/FM multiplex stereo, GPS, DVD, Bluetooth, USB, iPod, iPhone, Pandora, backup camera and a bunch of other stuff I don"t even understand. (in my 70"s) Under carriage is pristine with all hoses, lines and conduits protect by a custom "belly pan" as per the F355. Genuine Ferrari parts as follows: rear 1/4 glass (Air Dynamic is the only replica Ferrari with see through rear 1/4 glass. .see pix) Town and country horns, exhaust/muffler system, Ferrari 18" wheels shod with new BF Goodrich G Force 225 ZR18"s in front, and 265 ZR18"s in the rear. All new suspension, coil overs, poly bushigs, etc., rear suspension is f355 "Challenge" series width with very precise close ratio steering. All the "right stuff", and no Italian nightmares. Includes original owner"s manual,and all instruction books. Sooo. . why am I selling this beauty. ? I"m moving to the other coast (LA), so I"m closing down my toy box.
